Mechanical, also known as semi-automatic rising bollards, are mainly used where vehicle traffic is less intensive and the number of users is relatively low (e.g. small residential buildings, residential complexes, company car parks, etc.). They operate by means of physical pressure applied by a person using the control key. When the bollard is unlocked, it automatically rises. By applying pressure with the foot, the bollard is lowered until it remains in the retracted position and is then locked again. The bollards have the same shape as automatic bollards and are also available in the same material finishes. Mechanical bollards can be equipped with LED light points, providing increased safety for the designated passageway.
