We supported the creation of the book \u201cSrdcom v Karpatoch\u201d (\u201cWith Heart in the Carpathians\u201d) by Matej Feren\u010d\u00edk.\nAn adventurous journey that begins in the foothills, continues through virgin forests with centuries-old giant trees, and ends on the mountain peaks, observing breathtaking scenery.\nAn image-rich bilingual book about the beauty and fragility of the Carpathian wilderness, created with love and respect for nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book contains a wealth of information about various landscape features, ecosystems, animals, and ecological interactions \u2014 all accompanied by more than 230 authentic photographs captured by the author during 13 years of research and wandering through the Carpathians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Matej<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Matej Feren\u010d\u00edk (1990) is a scientist, ecologist, and internationally awarded photographer \u2014 but above all, a lover of the Carpathians. He has spent most of his life in the embrace of the Carpathians, which have become his home, laboratory, and studio. The book\u2026 Srdcom v Karpatoch<\/em> is his heartfelt project, born out of love and admiration for the most precious thing we still have in Europe \u2014 wild nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has learned to perceive the Carpathians not only through the eyes of a scientist and photographer, but above all with his heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
