Together with Demänová Rezort, we supported the creation of of the documentary series "Into the Carpathian wildproduced by Arolla Film. This exceptional project by director Erik Baláž Erika Baláža won the main prize – the GRAND PRIX at the 20th Włodzimierz Puchalski International Nature Film Festival 2025 in Poland. This prestigious festival, one of the oldest and most important nature film events in Europe, honors the best documentaries capturing the beauty and fragility of nature.

The project Život v Karpatoch, initially a four-part series and later a feature-length film, captures a vast array of stories from the second largest mountain range in Europe. Filming took place over four years across four different countries. The Carpathians are among the most inaccessible mountain ranges in Europe, and nowhere else on the continent is wild nature as threatened. The life within them, their wildest corners, and most beautiful landscapes are showcased from the Făgăraș Mountains in Romania, Bieszczady in Poland, and the Tatras in Slovakia. Across different seasons, you can follow the stories of charismatic species such as bears, wolves, lynxes, wisents, chamois, and capercaillies. This four-part series offers an in-depth look at the Carpathian wilderness and its amazing ecosystem.
