More than a festival — they are a celebration of life in motion, of courage, and of a passion for nature.

We were glad to support 20th edition of the HoriZonty Festival, which takes place annually in Trenčín.

HoriZonty is not just a festival — it is a space for passion, adventure, and inspiration, a place where lovers of mountains, outdoor sports, and quality cinema come together.

This unique festival offers:

• captivating films from around the world, drawing you into the adventure,
• discussions and presentations by guests, who share their experiences and stories,
• workshops, creative studios, and exhibitions, which develop creativity and skills,
• photo competitions and a contest for Slovak non-professional films,
• sports competitions and a wide range of accompanying events, which give the festival its dynamism and energy.

HoriZonty was founded in 2006, when climber Marka Dutková and her husband Jaro decided to organize the first edition in Trenčín. At that time, they had no idea they were starting a tradition that would become a part of their lives for years to come. Their passion, courage, and love for the mountains created a festival that today inspires thousands of people and becomes an unforgettable annual event for all outdoor enthusiasts.

In Trenčín, a new path was born — called “HoriZonty” — and life still pulses through it today.
